Harmon's in Arizona: A visit from Mimi.

Anthony had his first "long" trip with his new job, so it was a perfect excuse to have my Mom come out for a visit! We all love a visit from Mimi. And she was willing to come out even with the heat. The week went by too quickly, but we still had some fun. We spent almost every evening in the pool. She flew home yesterday and her flight connected through Charlotte, NC. As she was getting out of the car, she said "Nothing like flying into a hurricane!" Thankfully no problems and she got home safe and sound to Ohio. I'll deal with the heat over hurricanes any day!

Braden likes to pull his suit up like this and also his shorts and pajama pants. He thinks it's hilarious. He gets it from his dad! Hunter went for the "nerdy" look too trying on Mimi's glasses.

I guess they were getting ready for our science experiment. It might be hot here, but we now officially know that it IS NOT hot enough to boil an egg!

Anthony's family has a tradition of giving name's to their toes (I won't comment on the continuing "nerdy" theme here.. :-)). Braden's got them down and Hunter is taking notes.

Braden and Kyndal had their first sleep over! The parents hung out and played games and the kids had fun, too! Nicole and I sat outside the door of their room and listened for awhile since they were giving permission to "chat" some before bed. It was pretty, stinking cute!

Hunter has picked up a new habit.

We did go on some outings. Braden and Mimi did a craft at Bass Pro Shops and also feed the trout.

They went with Nanny Leah to the Hall of Flame Museum, too. Braden spent time pretending to be a firefighter. Although he's wearing his baseball uniform and told me yesterday when he picked it out and put it on that he's "going to be a professional baseball player." I asked him which team and he said the Diamondbacks!
