Braden turned one-month old on June 29th! We had his one-month well visit with Dr Sotelo today. We got the answer to the much asked question of "how much does he weigh?!" The official measurements from the dr's visit today were:
Weight - 11 lbs 13 oz (80%)
Length - 22 1/2 inches (75%)
Head size - 15 1/2 cm (70%)
So he is a big boy! However, when he was born he was in the 98% percentile for weight and head size. The doctor said everything is great and that we can let him sleep as long as he wants during the night. Now the great thing would be for Braden to sleep a long time at night! He got his second Hepatitis B shot and sure let out a wail when that happened. He stopped crying as soon as his Daddy picked him up and put him in his favorite place - on his chest.
Oh yeah, Braden smiled at us for the first time yesterday... it melted our hearts, just like we thought! Can't wait to see many more of those!
