Captain Cuddle

Braden's 14-months old now. He's added some fun new skills to his repertoire. He now blows bubbles or cool air, depending on the situation. The bubbles are a swim lesson skill and the cool air is anytime something is hot... from his food to the pool deck! It's rather cute. He's finally getting more teeth. A couple of molars and the 2 outside bottom ones in the front. He's done really well with teething and besides maybe being a little fussy now and then we've only discovered them by seeing them or finding them during tooth brushing. He's loving swimming and his lessons (and I've loved watching the Swimming World Championships the past 2 mornings!). He says his own version of "yeah" whenever you ask him a question. He's saying lots of other sounds / words now too, but the favorite continues to be "dat" with a finger point in whatever direction he feels like. When you go in to get him in the morning or from a nap, he either points to his bear, the fan or the window with a very forceful "dat." He's transitioning from his bottle to sippy cups (as you can see below), but boy does he love his bottles. I do too because it is a fun, snuggle time, and as his jammies say, he's Captain Cuddle!
