2 Words

Well, I think this has been the longest time I've gone between blog posts for awhile! But we have had a few things going on. Braden has gotten over his bronchitis and the stomach bug that he got along with his bronchitis. I am so glad that we have a healthy child and don't have to deal with sickness much. Thankfully I also didn't have to worry that he lost his appetite and might have lost a bit of weight. He was a trooper and we're glad to have our pleasant little man back!


The newest thing with Braden is how he is putting words together pretty regularly now. It's no longer a "rock," it's a "big rock." He also recognizes most of the letters and has started to try counting. Today we counted his bananas at breakfast and almost got to 3! He's loving Raisin Bran for breakfast, although he thinks the raisins are "bluck." Guess I should find some good bran flake cereal! He is pretty particular about keeping his food separated. He also likes to point out when things are hot - like Daddy and Grammy's coffee. When I tell him things aren't hot, he looks at me and says "warm?" He's so cute!

Braden loves taking a walk to a neighbor's bush where little bees are normally having some lunch. He was told that bees make honey and then started calling them "honey bees!" He also shows his early allegiance to the Utterback family's favorite sports team here (Go Duke!)!
