Christmas Eve and Day

The family after Christmas Eve church service... my favorite of the year! Going to the "kid friendly" service isn't quite the same as the candlelight service at night, but one day I'll look back and wish for the kid friendly one!

Cammy and Nicolle came over for Christmas Eve dinner.

Where's Braden? He got to open a couple presents early from Cammy.

This kid LOVES putting things in his mouth. And he loves it even more when he can crawl around with them in his mouth!

Anthony was very excited about putting together the kids' presents on Christmas Eve. Let's just say it took a little longer than either of us planned!

The tree after Santa arrived.

Braden was actually pretty shy when he came out of his room and saw that Santa remembered his train set! I think he might have been wondering if Santa was still around!

And this airplane and airport was a pretty close second in terms of excitement!

This was about all the interest the tricycle got... think it will actually end up being a Hunter gift!

He had a few to actually open and he had to get every last piece of paper off of the boxes!

Hunter eventually woke up and joined in the party. He liked his zebra rider...

and his stacking toy!

We took a Christmas Day hike in the mountain preserve near our house.

Hunter loves riding in the hiking pack! And we got to see a beautiful sunset.

Braden prefers walking to riding and gets to walk until we get to the climbing part!
