This post is about my little guy who is becoming a big boy. He's had a lot to deal with in the past couple weeks! And I have to say he's done great adjusting. We decided it was time to give potty training a more "official" effort. Although we didn't do anything drastic like not leave the house or contain him in a room, we decided to just remove his diaper when we were home to see what would happen. It's worked great! He's the type of personality that won't just "go" on the floor, so he's waited hours knowing he's had to pee and hours more until he knew we were going out and would get a diaper on to poop, but as of this weekend has officially accomplished both! We're very proud of him and know it will be an ongoing effort. But we're officially just in pull-ups and will be saving the leftover size 5 diapers for Hunter!

He'll probably not like this when he gets older, but I thought it was too darn cute not to post. He got to choose which character he wanted and he picked Oscar! He's like his mommy in many ways! :-)

And he got the garbage truck that he's known has been waiting for him until he finally pooped in the potty!
On top of going on the potty, we took down his crib last weekend and moved him into a different room and a new bed. He'd had one side removed and a bedrail on his crib, so has had the freedom associated with a big boy bed for awhile, but this was a big change. He told Anthony "put my crib back together" when he was taking it down. But he seems to like it and I think he likes the fact that Mommy and Daddy can now snuggle with him and read his stories in bed. And plus it's got to be more comfortable than that crib mattress by now... not to mention how squeaky his crib was getting.

Hunter tried to get in on the action.
Anthony had a charter flight that had him land in Phoenix. So, he then has to fly the plane from Phx to Scottsdale. After hours in "Daddy's plane" without getting to go anywhere, Braden finally got to get "ready for take-off!" Hunter and I dropped him off with Daddy and then drove up to meet them in Scottsdale (we definitely got the short-end of the stick!). He loved it.
