Catching Up

November has been a fun month. With the exception of the whole family getting the stomach flu (even though all of us DID get a flu shot), we had lots of fun. Anthony and Braden went to Maine. Hunter and I had some fun bonding time. And Christmas festivities have started! 

MAINE

 Braden got to spend time with his cousin Leah and check out her tractor.

 He didn't have any problems riding in a borrowed pink car seat.

 OR killing a bird. Last week  at the Zoo Braden said to his Daddy, "That looks like the bird we killed!" I'm glad they didn't get thrown out! And I'm hoping Anthony got his hunting "kick" out of him!

 Anthony got to take Braden to his family's hunting camp. 

 I think his favorite thing was riding on the ferry boat in Casco Bay.

 And he got to check out some of his Uncle Matt's toys.

ZOOLIGHTS

We got to go to a preview event for ZooLights, which is the only way we would go because Anthony is not a fan. It's a popular event and quite busy, which is great for the Zoo!

 Hunter practiced milking the cow before dinner. Hopefully this isn't the milk they used in the hot cocoa!

 We got to take a free camel ride!

 So we both took a turn with Braden. Hunter was still too young, although he did try to climb into the pen.

 They have an interactive "talking" giraffe called Jenga at ZooLights. She answered your questions and played games with the kids. It was fun.

 And Braden was amazed by it. He didn't want to leave!

Us by Big Blue...

the tree with 1.5mm blue lights! Which was quite appropriate given blue is Braden's favorite color!

JAMBO 

There's an indoor amusement park by our house so we decided to check it out over Thanksgiving.

 The train was popular, BUT

 BOWLING was by far the fan favorite!

 I think they both just loved the idea of throwing a heavy ball at something with no restriction!

 We had a great Thanksgiving at Leah's house. She is such a blessing to us. She provides our kids with such love and care and her 4 kids are like family to the boys. They love spending time with all of them and that goes both ways. And I was happy that my only contribution to Thanksgiving was an apple pie and brownies!
